How it works

Do I see someone face to face?

We are a telehealth company. All our communication is done over the phone. Our patients have told us they prefer it this way so they can speak to someone discretely and it can work around their busy lives.

Do I speak to a real Doctor?

Yes, and all our doctors are Australian qualified and registered with AHPRA with extensive in-practice experience.

Is your treatment the same thing I can get from my GP?

No, ours are completely personalised solutions that our compound pharmacists will create just for you based on the recommendation from the doctor. Your treatment will depend on the severity of the issue, age and medical background.

Do I need to get a referral to speak to your doctors?

No, you don’t need a referral. You can contact us directly and speak to an Australian doctor.

Where are you located?

We are in Sydney, Australia, but as a telehealth company, we provide help over the phone and online. There is no need to see someone in person, we can help men located across the whole country.

What if I don’t agree with my treatment plan?

You can communicate any concerns you have to your Treatment Plan Manager or doctor, and they will find another suitable treatment for you. We want you to be comfortable with your treatment and work collaboratively towards your goals.

What if my treatment doesn’t work?

We are committed to ensuring your treatment works for you. If your treatment isn’t working or you have concerns, contact your Treatment Plan Manager and they will either change the dosage or find another suitable treatment for you.

Orders/Treatment Plans

How quickly can I receive my treatment?

When you commit to our treatment programs you will speak to a doctor within 24 hours. Your treatment will then be compounded at our pharmacy and delivered out to you.

Where can I learn more about the side effects and risk?

During your doctor’s consultation, you will be informed of the potential side effects and risks associated with your treatment. After your medication has been prepared, this information will be sent via email, and the pharmacy will enclose a hard copy of the CMI (Consumer Medicine Information) sheet in the shipment.

How long are treatment plans?

Treatment plans range from 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. During this time, you will be regularly supported by your Treatment Plan Manager to help with any adjustments needed to your treatment and ensure you are satisfied with the program.

Can I change my treatment?

You can contact your Treatment Plan Manager via email Louie@optimalehealth.com.au. He will be able to assist you with any changes that need to be made.

What compound pharmacy do you use?

Our treatments are compounded through Nex Gen Pharmacy.

How do I cancel my treatment plan or make changes?

You can cancel or make changes to your treatment plan by emailing Louie at Louie@optimalehealth.com.au. Cancellation fees may apply.

Payments/Refunds

What payment method is accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex. All transactions are powered by Stripe which uses best in class security measures for your peace of mind. We also offer Zip, which allows you to buy now and pay later with no interest for up to 12months.

How is payment made?

Payment can be made over the phone with your treatment plan manager or through your account online with Optimale Health.

Can I get a refund?

If you wish to request a refund, you will need to provide a 30-day written notice to the Treatment Plan Manager at Louie@optimalehealth.com.au. Depending on your subscription program you may be charged a cancellation fee.

How much does it cost?

The cost of your treatment plan varies depending on the duration and type of treatment. You can contact your Treatment Plan Manager to find out more and discuss your options.

Can I claim on Medicare

Because we are a private health company, unfortunately you cannot claim on Medicare.

Can I use my private health insurance?

It’s best to speak to your provider to see what you may be able to claim and what your insurance covers.

How can I change my shipping address?

You can update your address by emailing your Treatment Manager via Louie@optimalehealth.com.au

Where do you deliver to?

Australia Wide. We use several different delivery services. Typically, shipping takes 2-3 days in metro areas, and up to a week for regional. In busy periods please allow more time.

Is order tracking available?

Yes, you should receive your tracking details from the chosen company that we courier with.
